sweet baby william

This past weekend, Janie and I drove to Jackson, MS, to welcome sweet baby William to the world! His mommy is my best friend, Deidre, who is so precious to me. Deidre is one of those amazing people who makes everyone around her feel special. Although it was a short visit, I am so happy I got to see Miss Dot, Deidre's very sweet mama, and all the Bookers!
William and his Aunt Hollie..... He is such a doll! Poor Deidre had to remind me and Miss Dot that she did actually want to hold him, too. :) sleepy boy....

Big Sister, MM! Don't be alarmed....she's just eating chocolate! She is so sweet and has the funniest little personality. We had a lot of fun playing!

Janie and I had such a good time! We also got to eat at my favorite sandwich shop.... The Beagle Bagel in Jackson. I actually think it has another name, but that is what Deidre and I have called it for about 6 years. Good times!!!

Isn't he the most handsome lab you have ever seen???? It's my BFF, Gus!! He's also a senior hunter and has won lots of fancy ribbons!

I was so happy when mama told me we were going to Jackson. Gus and I always have the most fun playing, and Auntie Deidre and Uncle GR love dogs!!! (like they don't care if I track in mud and give us lots of bites of their food!)

Gus has the best toys, too. Here we are playing with his hamburger toy. Look at my eyes... I'm like just try and get it....

Thanks for the fun, Gus! I LOVE coming to visit you!!!! I wasn't so sure about the baby. I kept sniffing him, and I really didn't like it when mama was holding him. I guess he's pretty cute for a bi-ped!
