I had no idea that when I adopted Janie I would be getting such a fantastic helper. It's so much easier to cut patterns with a 70 pound dog on top of them snoozing. Even better are the toenail holes I now have in my patterns!!!

As some of you know, I dabble in sewing. This is my latest creation, and my first attempt at adult clothing. I made my friend Emily a dress!! It turned out really cute.. and with the left over scraps, you can accessorize your dog to match!! And, we met Mildred, the lovely helper at Hancock Fabrics had about 25 years worth of aquanet hairspray in her hair... which made the shopping experience all the better!! Mind you, she is about 104 years old and snails and turtles could have chewed their way through the fabric faster... oh, well, gotta love some hancock....
