I'm sorry, I asked for a dog with long, fur.... I could have braided her fur into corn-rows!!
Post-grooming.... she was there for over 2 hours!!!
These are some older pics (well, like a little over a month old), but her long "fro" just makes me laugh. I originally met Janie in January. We thought she may have been Sadie (who has been missing), so I high-tailed it to Huntsville to get my dog back, but, of course, it wasn't Sadie. Janie was placed with a family and it didn't work out, so in April the Airedale Rescue Group called me to let me know and see if I would foster her. I drove back to Huntsville to "rescue" her. I mean the family hadn't even had her groomed or bought her any dog toys or treats. Obviously, me "fostering" her lasted about a day, then I decided to adopt her. Anyway, I just felt like sharing a little bit about Janie. (who I renamed). She has been such a blessing to me. I adore her sweet personality and her Airedale ways. My heart still longs for Sadie, but I feel so much comfort in Janie and I think she in me.
