didn't you know... dogs love a playground, too... we just couldn't get janie to slide down with us!
My sweet girl!This weekend, my adorable 3 year old niece, Mattie Claire, came for a visit. We had such a fun time! We went to Edgar's for cupcakes, where she informed me that, "um, aunt hoddie, i weally shouldn't use a knife, i might hurt myself"... when I handed her a butterknife to cut the cupcake. We took Janie to the park, where Janie begged to come into the playground area and play with us. We watched Diego, played school, went shopping, and just had ourselves a big ole time. It's so nice to spend some one on one time with her. She is such a funny little girl. She starts "school" at CCA where we all went to school in Luverne, and she is very excited to go to school where "you and my mama went to school when you were little girls like me". We went to pottery barn kids to get her a new lunch box today. I HIGHLY recommend the PBK. They have the kitchen and dollhouses set up, so she played and played! Needless to say, I didn't get any homework done, but it was worth it to spend time with that sweet baby! She does my heart good!!
