trapped in the friendliest city in the south....

I started feeling a little yucky last week, but I just chalked it up to stress... finals, projects, the holidays, ect... Janie and I headed down to my parents' house in Luverne (for those not familiar... this is smalltown Alabama at it's best... population 2200... self-proclaimed friendliest city in the south) for a visit the family. I woke up Saturday morning feeling the most sick I have felt in years.... I guess you could call it a cold, sinus infection, you name it... Silly me thought, well, I will just get mama to drive me to the doctor...no ma'am not on a weekend... that would have required an ER visit and an out of network co-pay... suffice it to say that the weekend is a blurr of being medicated by my mama, and having the ever so adorable nieces ask if I felt better yet. Even MC's cupcakes didn't do the trick, much to her shock and surprise! We are back in Birmingham, and I am finally feeling better!!! Hopefully, we will have a more entertaining post soon!!
