I am actually posting about my fun weekend. Janie Poo is still a little upset that she missed out on all the fun! Friday night, my friend Emily and I saw Griffin House in Birmingham. He is an amazing singer/songwriter. His tour manager had just quit, so Emily and I helped out by selling his merchandise ("merch" as we call it in the business). Selling merch is such a blast! And after the show and merch selling, we hung out with Griffin, who is a doll!! Such a fun night!!
My fav Griffin House song: the guy that says goodbye to you is out of his mind (you'll love it, too)On Saturday, Emily and I, after dropping off Janie and with Oliver in tow, headed to Athens, GA, to see one of our favorite musicans, Eric Hutchinson. We met Joan in Atlanta, and I said my teary goodbye to the sweetest 'dale of them all, Oliver. Then we went on to Athens and had lunch and did some shopping. Athens is such a cute town! We had dinner at the Globe, met up with some friends, then on to Eric's show. He was incredible. Seriously, check him out..... he's pretty fabulous! (it was our fourth Eric Hutchinson show).
We went out with the band after the show and had so much fun! I loved this bar. They made the best dirty martini. Mmmmmm

Ok. So that was my fun weekend. Awesome friends, awesome music, and my awesome foster dog went to an awesome home!
