Oliver is no longer with us, and we are heartbroken. My mama is a teacher and is also in school. I am an independent 'dale, so I am used to her coming and going a good bit. Don't get me wrong, she takes up A LOT of time with me, but it just wasn't the best fit for Oliver. He really liked to be with her ALL the time. He had a hard some understanding that she had to go to work and run errands, like buying us dogfood. Although it broke mama's heart and mine a little, too, she decided that it wasn't fair to Oliver for him to continue on with us. He needed a lot more attention than she can give him right now. So, he is being boarded at the vet.... or the Holid"aire" Inn as we like to call it. They have promised to take extra special care of him and spend lots of time doting on him and working with him. We miss him so much! (and mama feels so guilty) It's amazing how attached we became to him in such a short time. Mama says that we have to do what is best for Oliver, even if it makes us sad. He is such a smart, sweet, and loving 'dale. And, I have it on good authority that he is quite the snuggler, too! Please keep Oliver in your prayers and send your aire-zen his way, and we just know that he will find his forever home very soon!!!
