Did you think I had fallen off the face of the earth??? I have been very busy helping mama finish up her projects for school. Since I have been assisting her, she has not had time to help me blog.
She turns in her last project Wednesday! Here are few pictures from our trip to Marietta, GA, a couple of weeks ago.
Mama and I were part of a very big surprise for my Aunt Blaire (one of mama's BFFs) with a low-key baby shower/dinner with the girls. Mama and Julie and Elizabeth, two of Aunt Blaire's best friends, had been planning it for a couple of months. I did such a good job keeping it a secret! I had to help wrap baby Jeffery's gift......it was a really awesome horse stuffie, and i was hoping to keep it. I know he will love it!
This is Max. He is Aunt Blaire's dog, and we were not the best of friends...... We had growl-offs the whole time! Guess who won??? ok... we got in trouble for growling, so no one! hmpfff
On the way home, we stopped at the bakery (where we got my gotcha day goodies), and I enjoyed sniffing their selection of yummy looking treats!
This is Aunt Blaire and mama. They met several years ago when they taught at the same school in Marietta. Mama moved back to Alabama, but they are still best friends. It was my first time to meet them, and I loved it there! I got to sleep on aunt blaire and uncle drew's bed while they were at dinner! hehehe They have the best backyard... hills and trees... I was like a moutain-climbing 'dale! They have two fabulous kids, who mama adores, and a baby boy on the way! We love them very much!!! I can't to go back and see baby Jeffery!!!

PS/hint hint.... Aunty Deidre, mama's bff, is also expecting a baby boy very soon, so I sure hope I get to go see my friend Gus the Lab.... I mean..... help welcome baby William to the world!!!
